Teen Arrested for Operating Unlicensed Clinic and medical practice in South Florida

South Florida authorities arrested a teenager for operating an unlicensed medical office and medical practice. The said teen poses as a doctor and had performed medical physical exam on one of the police undercover agent on Tuesday.

According to ABC News, Malachi Love-Robinson, 18 years old was charged with practice of medicine without a license after Palm Beach County Sheriff officers arrested the teen on an undercover operation on Tuesday. The doctor poser operates a clinic at the West Palm Beach.

The detectives, with the help of Florida Department of Health had been investigating Love-Robinson earlier this month. The said teen been cited by the state health department for practicing medicine without a license in October last year.

Sheriff officers also found that the teen has online sites including a Facebook page and a website. KTLA5 News reported, his social media page is addressed in his clinic office at the 4700 N. Congress Ave. His business is called "New Birth New Life Holistic and Alternative Medical Center & Urgent Care." There were also photos posted on his social media page, with two older women, whom he claims his clinic staff.

Health officials issued a cease-and-desist notice as well several citations regarding Love-Robinson. NBC News also reported, on his website stated, "staff of Alternative Medical Professionals" and "We work together to serve your entire family for all of your medical needs in all stages of life," it said. He also described himself as a "well rounded professional" that treats, and cares for patients, using a system of practice that bases treatment.  

Authorities are still investigating if the photos on the site were stolen. His bio also does not provide his school credentials as well his professional name. He was not listed under Florida Department of Health's website. Love-Robinson was being held on $6,000 bail. Jail records didn't list an attorney.
